Returns & Refund Policy
At The Lawyer Spot, every article is produced with deliberate care — crafted not for haste, but for permanence. Our policy therefore reflects both the bespoke nature of our editions and the standard of fairness that governs our work.
1. Cancellations
1.1 Orders may be withdrawn within 48 hours of purchase by writing to sales@thelawyerspot.uk, quoting the order number in full.
1.2 Beyond that period, production shall have commenced and the contract shall stand concluded save in cases of defect or damage.
1.3 Upon valid cancellation, full reimbursement shall be made to the original method of payment within seven to ten business days.
2. Bespoke and Limited Editions
2.1 For all bespoke or limited editions — including The Esq. Collection and any future numbered or personalised release — sales are final once the 48-hour period has elapsed.
2.2 Each copy is prepared individually, often bearing hand-embossed details and made-to-order packaging. To return or exchange such work would be to compromise its integrity, and that we shall not do.
2.3 If, however, an item is received in damaged or defective condition, notice must be given within seven days of delivery, together with photographic evidence. Upon verification, a replacement shall be issued.
3. Standard Editions and Journals
3.1 For standard, non-personalised works — including The Commercial Awareness Journal and the Classic Edition of The Esq. Collection — items may be returned within fourteen days of delivery, provided they remain unused and in original packaging.
3.2 Return carriage shall be borne by the purchaser save where fault lies with us.
3.3 Approved refunds or exchanges shall be effected within seven to ten business days of the item’s safe return and inspection.
4. Condition of Returned Goods
4.1 All items must be received in unused and saleable condition, complete with any tags, seals, or protective wrapping.
4.2 Items altered, personalised, or used cannot be accepted for return under any circumstance save proven defect.
5. Defective or Damaged Goods
5.1 Any defect or damage must be reported within seven days of receipt to sales@thelawyerspot.com.
5.2 Supporting images and the order reference shall accompany the claim.
5.3 Upon approval, a replacement or store credit shall be issued according to the customer’s preference and product availability.
6. Final Provision
Every request is considered on its merits, guided by reason and fairness. We take pride in ensuring that those who purchase from The Lawyer Spot do so with confidence — certain that each article has been prepared, and each matter handled, with the same care we devote to our craft.
